What's The Purpose Of Soul Purpose?

In today's Ask Helen episode of The Guided Collective podcast, I'm tackling a community member's question:

"Why are we all striving to raise our vibration and why must we be learning 'life lessons'? What are learning for?"

Why do we have a soul purpose?

Souls come to earth to experience the duality that is not present in the realm that they come from. Earth has a very specific setup where there is duality or polarity. This even sets up the idea of purpose and lessons, good and bad, right from wrong.  

I want to preface this by saying we're asking this question from Earth where duality exists. And therefore our understanding of it is limited. So I'm going to do my best to answer this, but it's not a clean cut answer. Very rarely is right. Okay. So souls come here for the duality and to have the experience. And Kirsten's right that there is a lot of talk about raising our vibration.  

“Earth has a blueprint just as each soul does. The earth is a classroom for souls, with lessons that have become more challenging over time that the rise and fall of our lessons have created more polarity, and more duality. Part of the purpose is so souls can come here to experience it all.”

Why do we need to raise our vibration?

Let’s treat this as a separate idea for a moment. Talk of raising our vibration focuses on raising our individual vibration which helps our soul, but we need to make the distinction between our "soul" and our "spirit" here. They are two separate, different things.

The soul is the part of us that's lived lifetime after lifetime whereas the spirit is very much associated with this experience.  

The raising of our vibration is really about our spirit being at a high level as possible.  

“The higher our individual vibration, the more we bring light, love, peace, and joy to the earth. Eventually, we will rise out of duality, back into balance and neutrality.”

As each individual raises their vibration, it helps the collective to raise its vibration, bringing earth back to its status quo or more accurately, the earth’s vibration before humans came here. This is somewhat different from how I talk about purpose and lessons. So let me just dive into purpose and lessons a little bit and then I'll bring it all back together.  

Why do we need to learn soul lessons?

Part of Kirsten's question asked was: “If we're all striving to raise our vibration, why must we be learning these life lessons? What's all the learning for?”

This is why I wanted to address the difference between the soul and spirit. This idea of lessons is more for the soul rather than the spirit. The soul wants and chooses to come to earth because of its duality which allows the soul itself to evolve and grow and expand in a way it cannot without the duality.

Learning soul lessons may bring healing and raise our vibration higher but, for the soul (remembering time is very different to a soul than it is for humans) it is forever growing and evolving. Lifetime after lifetime.

But earth is not the only place a soul can come. Souls may indeed continue to incarnate to earth to learn particular lessons and to contribute to the overall raising of the vibration on this planet—but there are other places souls can explore. For the souls continuing to return to earth, they may have specifically signed on for not just for their own up levelling and upgrading, but to continue expanding the collective and the earth’s.  

The role of Source and the Oversoul

I often use this clairvoyant image mainly because spirit gave it to me to help my brain understand this, but I want you to imagine that there is a mothership. And the mothership is looking at earth and says, “Okay, I can't explore all of this on my own.”

So it replicates itself into billions of smaller elements from the mothership. Each of these billions of replicas (let's call them robots for ease of the metaphor) are given different areas and experiences to explore. And so all the billions of robots come down to earth and experience different things on behalf of the mothership—or, Source.

Eventually all of these billions of robots are going to come back to the mothership. The mothership benefits from every single one of the experiences of each of those billions of robots, just as much as the individual robot and because it's going to be assigned over and over and over again and then how it interplays with all the other robots and how it feeds back into the mothership.  

If I was to use different terms, we have the sort of oversoul from the oversoul individual souls. We all have this experience and we feed back into the oversoul.

Soul learning beyond earth

My take is that there is a group of billions and billions of souls that come to earth, but there are other groups that are going off to different realms, or different planets, different dimensions and different experiences.

Again, we first need to remember the difference between the "soul" and "spirit" as I explained earlier.

There will come a point in so many years where Earth's vibration has essentially come back to love, not duality. At that time, there will no longer be duality here. When that happens, the souls that come to earth will come for a very, very different experience and it wouldn't be for this duality of lessons and purpose as souls enjoy now.

Do angels and spirit guides still learn?

Yes!

To expand upon that, I want to explore the idea that there are different layers and different frequencies. When the human passes away, we have the spirit in the very next realm, not necessarily the soul, but the spirit will go into the next sort of frequency or the next bandwidth. And in that bandwidth, even though someone has passed away and they've completed their lessons and purpose in this lifetime, their spirit may continue.

This is where we can sometimes see, and the soul is involved in this, but we will often see a life review. When I do medium work, this is where these spirits have now got a different viewpoint and a different understanding of what was happening on earth. As we go up through what I'm now calling bandwidths, we have different sort of different “gradings” (for want of a better word!) of spirit guides and different gradings of angels. Some of them, particularly spirit guides, may have been on earth before, but not all of them have. Angels haven't been on earth before in human form.

Are they still learning? The answer is yes, but not in the way that the soul does on earth.

They're often learning through extrapolation, how they're guiding us or what they're showing us here on earth. But they might also be helping other souls in other places and dimensions.

How high are we trying to raise the vibration?

It is much higher than anyone of us could ever know, because there's only a certain frequency that is even possible on earth. And so when I do connect into spirit guides and beyond, it is unlike anything that we might experience here. If we live in an ever expanding universe, it would also stand to reason that the vibration is also ever expanding.

Where does it all go? It is so far beyond our comprehension from here that we are not meant to truly know— the whole point is that we've come to earth for the duality, to help raise the vibration so that eventually earth comes back to a certain set point that the purpose of the earth has actually changed.

“The soul is here to experience all it can and those experiences contribute to the ever expanding universe.”

All souls are learning

We are just very small specks in the scheme of things where the purpose is beyond big and meaningful. But if we were to zoom right out into an ever-expanding universe that you can't find the edges of, then the purpose isn't as important as what our human mind might think it is.
